About the Role
Role Overview
We are seeking a Business & Financial Analyst to support Flocean’s financial and commercial activities across business development and fundraising at corporate and SPV level. The role will report to the CFO but also work closely with the CEO to strengthen financial modeling, investor materials and market analysis.
This is a hands-on role offering exposure to strategy, finance, and business development, while also requiring you to contribute to administrative and ad hoc tasks within a small team in a fast-growing company.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Modeling
• Build and maintain the group financial model, including long-term cash, PnL and balance sheet forecast
• Build and maintain project-level financial models with cash-flow waterfalls, dividend capacity
• Prepare scenario and sensitivity analyses at group and project level for projects
Corporate Finance & Fundraising
• Support corporate and project fundraising, including financial narratives, data rooms, and investor Q&A.
• Prepare and update liquidity forecasts, runway analyses, and funding needs.
• Benchmark Flocean’s financial metrics (burn rate, multiples) against peers and comparable
infrastructure projects.
Business Analysis & Strategy
• Support mapping and evaluation of commercial opportunities, partnerships, and new projects.
• Contribute to long-term value creation analyses across the project portfolio.
Internal Support & Reporting
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Prepare materials for Board meetings and strategic discussions.
• Coordinate and manage corporate documents and records
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, project finance, consulting, investment banking, or infrastructure investing.
Strong financial modeling skills
Understanding of SPVs, infrastructure-style investments, and cash-flow based valuation is an advantage.
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Personal Attributes
Proactive and self-driven; comfortable operating in a scaling startup environment.
Structured, reliable, and able to manage multiple workstreams.
Hands-on, adaptable, and willing to support ad hoc tasks as needed.
