Birgitte is a seasoned financial strategist with extensive experience in global finance, risk management, and corporate structuring. Before joining Flocean, she held key leadership roles in the maritime infrastructure and aqua industry, specializing in capital raising and financial risk mitigation. Birgitte has been CFO for the Aquatiq group (global leader in the food safety value chain) and the Aqua Pharma group (global player in international aquaculture disease prevention and control) and raised more than USD 1.7 billion from various debt sources during her time with Högeh LNG. With a proven ability to navigate complex financial landscapes, she ensures Flocean’s financial sustainability, strategic growth, and compliance.

She is well acquainted with international exposure through sourcing and securing a variety of debt products globally, stock-listing (Oslo and New York), and corporate planning / tax structuring world-wide.
