Erlend holds a MSc. in engineering cybernetics from NTNU, Norway.


His background includes subsea boosting projects from Aker Subsea, developing inertially stabilized sensor platforms and oil spill detection systems for Aptomar and extensive product & service development and operational experience from managed pressure drilling operations as a Control System Manager for Enhanced Drilling.

Erlend have an intimate knowledge of automation and control systems, both using commercially available systems in novel applications and developing custom embedded solutions. He has hands on experience with technology qualification processes. Through experience with small and fast growing companies with a desire to make a mark on the world he has learned the necessity of an agile mindset.
